It contains so many antioxidants (33x more antioxidants than red wine!) that research in Florida in 2006 reported that Acai berries triggered an 86% self destructive response in leukaemia cells!!!!!! They contain as much protein as an egg! and as much essential fatty acid as olive oil! The best way to add it to your diet is in liquid form!!
