Its getting colder...and colder!!! Although we are in Britain's equivelent of Barbados...I dont think that the people of Barbados are having to walk around in 5 layers to stay warm somehow! Its become that cold that weather forecasts show that we are unlikely to have snow on christmas day this year, with odds being placed at 16-1 for snow in London on xmas day...Here in Torquay it is even more unlikely, apart from on the moors where there is high ground.............................................................................................team Bigberry

Bigberry goes back to school!!!
No, we havnt gone back to re-sit our maths exams!!! team Bigberry have been at local schools the last 3 days to giveaway several thousand of our delicious smoothies to encourage healthy eating. So far we have had a great time visiting Sherwell Valley Primary, Priory, Oldway Primary, Torquay Boys and Girls Grammer, Torquay Community College, Watcombe, and Queensway Primary schools...

Bigberry prepare for BIG handout!!!
We are preparing ourselves for a big handout to numerous local primary and secondary schools in the area before the break-up for xmas hols! Day out at University of Wales
Students at the University of Wales enjoyed a fruitful tasting session yesterday - team Bigberry were there to hand out samples to students and staff. We certaily made our way through quite a few sample cups as our smoothies seemed to go down very well...The only complaint was made by myself...at the cost to use the bridge into Wales...scandalous!!! ;-)

Up, up, and away...The Balloon...  Earlier this year the English Riviera welcomed a new balloon onto the meadows, and this weekend we gave it a go! World surfing games anyone? http://www.isasurf.org/ I dont know about you, but i quite fancy this! To watch that is...dont think my surfing skills are quite upto scratch for this one! The ISA World Surfing Games will be starting on the 11th October on the gorgeous coast of Costa de Caparica, Portugal...
300 surfers from all over the world will be competing in one of the biggest events of the surfing calender. They will compete for week for the illustrious Gold medal prize. After which, surfing athletes participate in the Sands of the World Ceremony, where sand from all over the World is mixed, symbolising through surfing, all countries can live in a peaceful and friendly environment...

Lunch Show Success... The Bigberry Team enjoyed a great couple of days at the Lunch Show in London last Friday & Saturday! As you can see by our stand we enjoyed the two days of the show chilling out on the beach, listening to Jack Johnson in the background...while enjoying a smoothie or two ofcourse.
We were run of our feet with customers enjoying samples of our smoothies, which seemed to prove ever so popular. It was also a pleasure to meet all the other exhibitors at the show...Nicole from London Bio Packing, who just so happend to be from Torquay also...The lovely Angels of Philidelphia Splendips, Anna and Marit...Paul with Chegworth Valley, and we particularly enjoyed sharing a Bigberry smoothie with the two Tim's from Innocents team...

Murray Vs Federer... I dont know about you, but im certainly going to be watching this match tonight!!! Great performance from Andy Murray to make the final of the US Open beating Nadal 3-1 in the semi's. It will take a huge performance from Murray to take Federers title...but we think he can do it! Learn a language!
 Need to find something interesting to do? Why not learn a language! Us Brits tend to be lazy and not bother with other languages as everyone else in the world speaks English!!! Well why not change that and dedicate an hour a day to a new language...great skill to have. Bigberry Drinks hails Olympic stars...
The Beijing 2008 Olympic games have been a huge success for Team GB with a record 16 gold medals so far, with a possibility of more to come. 10 Silver medals and 10 bronze medals compliment those golds, making a total medal count of 36! Well done Team GB!!! Although...if they were drinking Bigberry Smooties, we think they would be toppling the Chinese on the medals table! London 2012 here weeeeeeeeeeeee come...
