A Bigberry Smoothie is full of natural fruit!

Why we at Bigberry would never use concentrates!

As you know we would never consider using Fruit Concentrates in any of our Bigberry Smoothies.

All of the fruit that we blend together to fit inside one of our Bigberry bottles comes from natural sources. We found that fruit tastes a lot better if you leave it as nature intended.

Why not use concentrates?

Fruit concentrates are made by boiling the fruit to remove all the water (!!!) which affects the taste and nutrition of the product.

This is then shipped to the consumer and diluted back to its original strength with local water! This process is so harsh; it is pointless using good quality fruit.
Smoothies made from “concentrates” use concentrated fruit juice and not the whole fruit. A large percentage of smoothies on the market are made this way, often purely for financial reasons.

Concentrate smoothies found masquerading as 100% fruit

Always read the ingredients label on your smoothies, many are marketed as 100% fruit but checking the ingredients highlights the words “concentrates” or sometimes just an ( * ) identifying the concentrate fruits.
